Clinical Supervision

Uncovering the hidden blocks that get in your way when working with clients

The purpose of clinical supervision is to use this opportunity as a time to give back to yourself. This time is for you to be heard, seen, and understood.

As counsellors, we spend much of the time in service of others, listening, helping, interpreting, and mentoring. Too much output can lead to an internal imbalance and compassion fatigue.

By creating space for your own inner exploration you can learn ways to self monitor so that your well-being stays in balance.

Part of my clinical supervision process is to help support your personal and professional growth.

This clinical supervision is for you if:

]

You want space held for you in the same way you support your clients.

]

You desire space to process what has come up with your own clients.

]

You are curious about bringing mindfulness to your counselling practice.

]

You want to learn how to observe yourself and your triggers during client sessions.

]

You want to explore how your creative energy can enhance your practice and benefit your clients.

]

You want to gain knowledge about your own grief and loss so that you can better serve your clients.

]

You believe in a heart centered approach to counselling and want to deepen your understanding of somatics.

Clinical supervision can also help you explore your perceptions so you can remain open and engaging with your clients.

When you’re not looking through your own projections and bias you have the ability to stay grounded and connected with the client’s feelings and experiences.

Sometimes, as the counsellor, our story can get caught up in our client’s story and we can unconsciously project our beliefs. I help you explore your own experiences so that you can see your client more clearly, separate from you and your story.

My approach to clinical supervision is an undoing process to acknowledge your own triggers so that you can stay centred and connected to your clients in every circumstance.

Lilypad clinical supervision can help you expand your capacity and deepen your understanding of yourself and how you engage with clients.
